|Missouri falls to #21, a drop of four spots in this week's AP Top 25 poll. The Tigers round out the SEC presence in the poll with Florida at #2. One SEC team dropped out of the poll this week. Ole Miss was ranked #16. Missouri started off the week with an upset loss at LSU, 73-70. That was followed by a win at home against Auburn, 91-77.
Florida moves up two spots in the poll following a week that began with a win at home over South Carolina, 75-36. After that came another win at home against then-16th ranked Ole Miss, 78-64.
Ole Miss drops out of the poll after consecutive losses to then-4th ranked Florida and Kentucky, 87-74.
Indiana gets back the number one ranking following a week in which they first got a victory at Purdue, 97-60. After that came an upset win at home against then-1st ranked Michigan, 81-73. Michigan falls from the number one ranking with a win against Northwestern, 68-46 and a loss to then-3rd ranked Indiana. Georgetown breaks into the Top 25 at #20 with a win at home over Seton Hall, 74-52 and a win at home over St. John's, 68-56. Oklahoma State comes in at #22 with wins against then-2nd ranked Kansas, 85-80 and Iowa State, 78-76. Pittsburgh also enters the Top 25 at #23, along with Notre Dame at #25. Wichita State falls out of the Top 25 this week with an upset loss at home to Indiana State, 68-55 and an upset loss at Northern Iowa, 57-52. NC State and San Diego State also drop out this week.
